I'm thinking about buying a house. If I live here for two more years, is it worth it? Will I lose money? Because the thought of paying $300/month for two years just to occupy a space I don't own makes me want to live in my car (which I do own, incidentally, as of yesterday). $300 is ridiculously cheap rent, but will still cost me $7,200 in two years. For nothing.
On the other hand, I dream about the ocean almost every night. It might not be wise to set more roots down here, although here is home at least until I finish school 2 years from now. And I found the cutest little house a couple of blocks away. And I really don't want to still be renting at 30.
But thinking about it makes me feel homesick, which I don't understand.
What to do.
